During the recent ballot of the membership only one new application was received .All of the standing directors were re-nominated. Anthony Sarkis of Gosford Quarries retired from the board. In line with the terms of the constitution the board decided to replace Anthony with new nominee and former director David West of Materialswise. The new board will meet at 2pm on 17 November 2016 prior to the ASAA AGM and seminar sessions.

Following a recent ballot of the membership the Australian Stone Advisory Association (ASAA) held its Annual General Meeting at Designbuild. Acting within the terms set-out in the Constitution the Board decided to invite two additional members to join the Board.
The new Board now consists of members whose businesses are located in every State. This accords with the Board’s desire to expand membership, and eventually hold seminars and board meetings in all States.
The new Board is:

Previous Board
The Australian Stone Advisory Association (ASAA) held its Annual General Meeting at Rydges Hotel, Camperdown, New South Wales on 26 February. The AGM which commenced at 1pm was followed immediately by a 3-hour board meeting. Later that evening, ASAA Directors Jim Mann and Rolf Offerhaus presented papers which respectively addressed variations in local and imported bluestone, and adhesive selection for moisture sensitive stones.
Following a ballot of the membership the following individuals were appointed to the board.
