ASAA Architectural Stone Award Winners at designEX 2014

The Australian Stone Advisory Association Architectural Stone Awards were presented during the first evening of designEX 2014 (28 May) by David West of International Conservation Services and architect Stephen Varady, of Stephen Varady Architecture.

The Awards were adjudicated by:

The Award criteria were established by ASAA and the Australian Institute of Architects to reward commercial and residential projects which exhibit ‘good design values’ and ‘appropriate use’ of materials.

The awards acknowledged the use of imported stone and Australian natural stone and were presented to the project architect or sculptor, and the stone supplier.

Approximately 130 people attended the presentation. The Awards were sponsored by Stone Initiatives.
